Helen Justice, Chair of the HCADA Prescription Drug Task Force, at University Community Hospital, where she gave an excellent presentation to office managers, nurses and physicians, entitled “Florida’s Epidemic- Prescription Drug Abuse” on May 12th. This is an example of just one of the many ways Helen has contributed towards reducing substance abuse in the community.
Certificate of Commendation
On July 15, 2009 members of the Hillsborough County Prescription Drug Task Force were presented with a Certificate of Commendation by the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners for their dedication in working to pass the Prescription Drug Monitoring Bill legislation.
